Privacy Policy
How F7 Software, Inc. ("F7", "we", "us") handles personal information in connection with this website.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to www.f7software.com (the "Site"). Our products have their own websites and their own privacy policies — for example Arc Monitor Pro, Arc Cert, FraudCheck API, and F7 Business Suite — and the handling of data inside those products is described there, not here. This Site is an informational, marketing website: it has no customer accounts and no logins.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you use the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), the topic you select, and your message. The IP address the message was sent from and the time it was sent are included with it, which helps us tell genuine inquiries from spam. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a message; nothing we do requires it.
Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, our servers and our content delivery network record basic technical information about each request: your IP address, browser type and version, the pages and files requested, the referring page, and the date and time. We use this to keep the Site running, secure it against abuse, and troubleshoot problems. The Site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services and does not build profiles of visitors.
Bot protection. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes signals from your browser to confirm that a submission comes from a person. Turnstile is operated by Cloudflare, Inc. under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and, where you have asked about a product or service, to provide information, demonstrations, quotes, and follow-up about it.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site, including detecting and blocking abusive or automated traffic.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We send marketing email only to people who have asked to hear from us, and every such email includes a way to opt out.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work:
- A security token cookie that protects the contact form against cross-site request forgery. It contains no personal information.
- A short-lived cookie used once, after you send a message, to show you the confirmation page.
- Your cookie-notice choice (Accept or Decline), stored in your browser's local storage so the notice is not shown again. This value never leaves your browser.
Cloudflare may set its own cookies (for example a bot-management cookie) to deliver and protect the Site and to operate Turnstile; these are described in Cloudflare's cookie policy. We set no analytics or advertising cookies. You can change your cookie-notice choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the Site will still work, though the contact form requires the security cookie.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site and respond to you, and only for those purposes:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery, DDoS protection, and the Turnstile verification on the contact form. Traffic to the Site passes through Cloudflare's network.
- Our email service — contact-form messages are delivered to us by email and handled in our business mailboxes.
- Hosting — the Site runs on servers we operate in the United States.
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect the rights, property, or safety of F7, our customers, or others; or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to the information transferred.
6. Data retention
Contact-form messages and our replies are kept as ordinary business correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain our records, and are then deleted in the normal course. Technical server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting and then discarded. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time (see Section 8).
7. Security
The Site is served only over HTTPS, sends modern browser security headers, and accepts input only through the contact form. Access to contact messages is limited to the people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can browse the Site without giving us any personal information; the contact form is the only place we ask for it. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by writing to us using the details in Section 12. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Our legal bases for processing are our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and in responding to people who contact us, and, where we send marketing, your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. You also have the rights to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. The Site is operated from the United States, so your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
California residents. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it (described in this Policy), to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
9. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other websites
The Site links to our product websites and to third-party sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read; this Policy does not apply to them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and material changes will be highlighted here. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
