About Arc Monitor Pro

Arc Monitor Pro answers a question every shop manager has asked: are the welders actually running? A small sensor mounts near each machine, detects the arc without any connection to the welder, and reports arc time minute by minute to a cloud dashboard — so you see which machines are welding, for how long, and which are sitting idle, as it happens rather than at the end of the month.

It works with any process that strikes an arc — MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core — on the equipment you already own, needs no electrician, and scales from one shop to twenty facilities, each in its own time zone. Reports break activity down by device, category, location, and period; alerts catch a welder that quietly stops reporting; and an open REST API feeds Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or your own systems. With the optional Operator Login Pendant, employees badge in right at the station, so weld time is tracked per person as well as per machine. Want the floor to see it too? Add the optional tower light to any machine — green while welding, yellow when paused, red when it has been idle too long. Arc Monitor Pro is designed and built by F7 — the hardware, the firmware, and the cloud.

Key capabilities

Real-time weld monitoring

See exactly which welders are running, for how long, and how much arc time they're generating — updated every minute. Idle machines stand out instantly.

Detailed reports

Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and custom date ranges, broken down by device, category, or location — and by employee with the pendant add-on. Compare periods to track improvement, and export to CSV.

Multi-site management

Unlimited locations and devices, each location in its own time zone so reports always reflect the right local hours — and Plant A compares straight against Plant B.

Simple installation

Mount the sensor near the welder and connect it to your existing Wi-Fi. No wiring changes, no electrician, no software to install — it starts reporting immediately.

Automatic alerts

Every device is checked nightly and an email goes out when a welder stops reporting, so a machine that quietly drops offline doesn't go unnoticed for weeks.

Open REST API

Pull weld data into Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or your own applications, with time-zone-aware responses and interactive documentation.

Operator Login Pendant — weld time by employee (add-on)

Employees badge in right at the station. Build the roster in the portal — a name and a badge number — and weld time is captured per person: a By Employee report sits alongside the machine reports, and employee data flows through the REST API and Power BI connector. One login at a time (badging in elsewhere moves the session), and sessions survive internet outages and power loss.

Tower light — status the whole floor can see (add-on)

Want the floor to see it too? Add the optional tower light to any machine. Green — welding. Yellow — paused. Red — idle too long. The same status the dashboard shows, visible from across the shop.

How it fits your operation

Arc Monitor Pro works with any process that strikes an arc — MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core — on the welders you already own, with no modifications and no voided warranties. The sensor sends encrypted data over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to the cloud dashboard, which opens in any browser on a desktop, tablet, or phone; managers get full reporting and operators see a filtered view.

Works with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welders — no machine modifications
Cloud dashboard in any browser — nothing to install, no IT project
Scales from one shop to twenty facilities, each on its own time zone

Questions about Arc Monitor Pro

No. It mounts near the machine and senses the arc signature without any electrical connection — no cutting wires, no modifications, and no effect on the welder's warranty.
